City of Mill Creek, Survey of City Residents: Users and Non-Users of Parks
and Recreation Services and Facilities
Facilitated a planning workshop with staff, conducted a
focus group with citizens to develop survey content, designed and coordinated a
random sample telephone survey of Mill Creek residents, with 200 Park Users and
100 Non-Park Users.

Aquifer
Awareness Program for the City of Renton
Project manager and community involvement specialist for a program to
build public awareness of Renton's
designation as having a sole source aquifer.
The program was originally funded in 1990 through a matching grant from
the Department of Ecology and was extended by the City of Renton in 1991 and 1992. The program included interviews, group
discussions, a random sample survey of residential communities; design and
management of all elements of a major promotion program; design and
coordination of a complete curriculum for use in the schools to educate
children about their source for drinking water; coordination of presentations
to schools; development and coordination of a promotion program with Renton businesses.
